Solid performing shoeBy: Brad on 11 February 2020I bought these shoes to replace my aging Shimano M087 shoes for mtb, commuting and occasional road ride (on CX bike). I had hoped that these shoes were lighter. After some research, I found the claimed weight was ~325g (sz42), my size44 with spd cleats was closer to 455g. Although somewhat weighty, the shoes have a nice stiff sole and transfer power to the pedals well. They are accurate in their sizing and very comfortable to wear. The BOA system adds extra comfort and easy fastening of the upper. The finish on the shoes is of quality and it'll be interesting to see how they fair for longevity. I would recommend the Suplest XC performance for anyone wanting a recreational shoe that might want to occasionally get out and race. I would personally not pay the full RRP for this shoe, but at $180 this was ok and I will happily get good use out of them. Hope this review helps!
